A Few of My Favorite Things

My top-secret products
I can't live without:

M•A•C Strobe Cream
My #1 product I can't live without:
Packed full of vitamins, your skin will love it!
I use this after moisturizer as an all over radiant primer.

I get this at Target. I LOVE it.
#2- Pixi's Nude Eye Bright Liner-
It makes my squinty eyes look bigger, and tired eyes look wide awake.
Line this on your inner bottom lash line. Can also be used to make your lips look fuller!
Just line around the outside of your lips. Voila!

#3- YSL Radient touch concealer.
This may be my newly found secret weapon!
$50 bucks for this tube of pure radiance, so use sparingly. (It actually does last a while).
Use as a concealer and the turn out is beautiful, radient and natural.

I'm picky with eye liner. Liquid is too hard, pencil is too soft. This MAC gel liner is just right. You have to use the right liner brush, of course. I use the angled one by MAC.
This 'Contrast' eye shadow is perfect for smoky eyes, and also for lining over my black gel liner. It lightens the black up a bit. Must have product #5.

My favorite moisturizer.
I have very dry skin, especially in the winter, and this Clinique dramatically different moisturizing lotion hydrates my sensitive skin just right.
Most amazing hair serum on the planet. Can be used on wet or dry hair.
Aveda.

That sums up my favorite products for 2012!
Happy New Year!

(You might want to scoot back a few feet. Seriously though... Scoot back).
• Canyon, aka Bashful, ('Ohh garshh') is the cutest little man you'll ever meet.

Lately

I thought I'd give an update since I last posted.

Here's what's happened since my last post-

•Skye started kindergarten at Canyon Crest.

•My sister is a freak. She's all around amazing!

•Jordan broke his arm. Again...

•My dad is also a freak. Finally finished Wasatch 100. That was his biggest challenge and he crushed his goal. Way to go dad!

• I turned 25 and had an awesome surprise party up Provo Canyon!
(Im having a little bit of a quarter-life crisis).

•I moved in with two new roommates. (Grandma and Grandpa) They are THE BEST!

• I got a new job working in the HR department at Vivint. It's the best place to work!

• Skye lost her first tooth.

• We went to Uncle Teds in Idaho for thanksgiving. .

Skye had a blast

• Made the cutest gingerbread house EVER!

• Vivint gives back. We did a sub-for-Santa the same day of the Newtown Massacre.
Very sad day... So awful.

• My cousin Cole was called to serve is Dallas, Texas.
Kim had not yet recovered from his absence....

• My brother Morgan found his other half. (Addison). She is one amazing girl!

• Skye was a present in her kindergarten Christmas Program

And that's what I've been up to.

When Life Gives You Lemons...

I was debating whether I should start a new blog or continue this one, after a hard long contemplation, I decided starting a new blog would be like cutting the most important part of a story, and keeping it unfinished.
This blog is my story. The only place where all my pieces have been untouched, and unedited. It's a little painful to look back, but so are the memories. So, I'll continue on with my 'TayandSkye' adventure, but expect some changes. I am a different person than I was then...
When life gives you lemons,

paint that sh#t gold!
